Mandelshtam is a Russian poet who lived in the first half of the 20th century - and loved trams. This book brings together some of the verses about trams Mandelshtam wrote for kids. The main character of the book is a very clever little boy from the central poem. He likes books - and apples - and spreads around the spirit of mischief.
